The upper left photo is looking into the vault.
On the left is the Master Clock (HM-3) a KVARZ Hydrogen Maser, the center
rack holds the Agilent 5071A Cesium reference clocks, and on the
right are HP-5061B Cesium reference clocks. At the top of the right rack (the black box) is
the Auxiliary Output Generator (AOG). The AOG continously adjusts the output from the Hydrogen Maser
to the agree with the average of the Cesium Reference Clocks (the Ensemble). It is from the AOG that JägAir Time is derived.
The upper right photo is looking at the clockvault from the clock lab. Support equipment in on the left. The lower left photo is of support equipment in the Clock Lab. The left rack holds GPS and WWVB receivers. The center rack has four additional Cesium Reference Clocks. On the right is a Timing Solutions TSC-5110A time interval analyzer, , three quartz "clean up oscillators" and an HP-5065A Rubidium Vapor Standard. The lower right photo shows the Loran rack on the right. On the left is the distribution rack which holds the Voice Time Announcer, the NTP time server and Time Code Generator. |
