Eastern Standard Time [Daylight] is the time observed by the eastern states in the US, including Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia and portions of the states of Florida, Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee.

Daylight Saving Time, where clocks are set forward one hour, runs from the first Sunday in April until the last Sunday in October.
